Preparation


In this chapter we will give a step-by-step description how to create and run a tournament. But before starting the tournament we will create (resp. update) the player database(s).This will help us in adding players to the tournament later.

To do this we start the application and then via menu 


Player Base -> Update -> FIDE


we start the download of the data of all players with Fide ID.

This is executed in  background and will take some minutes. Once this is finished, the Player Base -> Update menu entry will be anabled again and we can do the same for the german DWZ player database


Player Base -> Update -> GER


Now we are ready to start the walk-through
