Ponziani Swiss Tournament Manager is a free and open source program to manage swiss chess tournaments.

It offers the most important features necessary to run a tournament:

  • Drawing of rounds according to the rules given by the FIDE Handbook. This is achieved by the use of the BBPairings engine.
  • Entering participants by FIDE Id
  • Lookup of participants and their ratings in several rating databases (currently FIDE and german DWZ bases available)
  • Export of participant lists, pairings, round results and crosstables as HTML and PDF (for printout)
  • Support for Baku accceleration
  • Option to choose between Dutch and Burstein pairing system
  • Alternative scoring schemes (e.g. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw)
